I was looking for something to keep track of our son's future Dr's visits. I purchased 2, one for my niece as she is expecting as well. I have to say couldn't be happier. It is well organized starting with the Birth and followed by 1st months well visit. It has room for the vaccinations and medical notes as well as progress. Definitely recommend if you want to stay organized and on top of your Newborn's medical records at home. MThis comes in so handy, especially if you've had complications such as a premature baby (like me) or a baby with other pre-existing conditions. Especially love how detailed it is. Also a great way to keep track of doctors appointments & immunizations, too. My only criticism would be the size. While the smaller size can come in handy, it kind of makes the pocket in back (which for me was one of the selling points) obsolete since you can only fit a couple things in there before it starts getting pretty bulky. Still, a small pocket is better than none in my opinion; you can at least stash prescriptions and doctors notes in there. And sure, you could easily keep this info on an app on your phone, but when it comes to your child's health it never hurts to have a handwritten record of everything.Please let me know if you found this review helpful, as I rely heavily on others' reviews for my Amazon purchases as well. This product is exactly what I was looking for! I was born in California and they use to give out these booklets that you’d bring to every doctor visit for them to fill out and to keep track of everything. In Illinois they gave out these yellow cards that keep track of shots only. I wanted something similar to what I had growing up, but they don’t give booklets here. Just printouts. So this booklet was absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for! My daughter is almost 4 months old and will be getting some of her immunization shots soon so I bought this for her pediatrician to write in each time she has a check up and gets her shots. This booklet is fantastic because not only can I keep track of that, but I can keep track of her dental, growth, and when she’s sick. The booklet has a back pocket to keep important documents too which is perfect for keeping those printouts they give. You can fit so much information in this book. It’s lightweight and fits easily in a purse or diaper bag. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended if you’re looking for something to keep track of your child’s health records.

I love this records book. It it so cute and so detailed. My favorite feature is the little pocket in the back where I store my daughters little cards she gets from her pediatrician. I got a state vaccine record for my son when he was born in Arizona (Louisiana doesn't have them) but I am tempter to purchase another of these books so he can have all of the details when he is older as well. While this may take some time if not purchased for a baby, it would still be worth it. Everything is laid out for you. Also great for organization. you don't have to keep every single piece of paper anymore!

I love this handy book it's so easy to input all the data that is essential to track as a new parent in one simple place the pages are concise without a ton of irrelevant question or blanks the only reason I rate as 4 stars and not 5 is the chart in the back for growth is very small and can be difficult to plot points however this is a small concession for how great this record keeper is

I was so excited to get this! I love how detailed everything is, I didn't even expect there to be charts. I'm terrible at organizing records, so I hoped that this would keep me on track a bit better. It's gender neutral and the stiff cover is a nice touch, I feel like it won't wear out and fall apart.

About the Author

Larry H. Small received both a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology (1977), and an M.A. in Audiology (1977) from Kent State University. He received his Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science from Ohio University in 1984. He worked as a clinical audiologist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha from 1978 – 1980. Dr. Small joined the faculty of Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in 1984, and remained on the faculty for twenty-four years, prior to his retirement in 2008 when he was named Associate Professor Emeritus. While at BGSU, he served as the Director of the University Honors Program (1991 – 1996). He was also Chair of the Department of Communication Disorders from 2003-2007. Dr. Small was on the Executive Board of the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) from 2007-2011, serving as President from 2009-2010. He began teaching undergraduate and AuD courses at Ohio State University (OSU) in 2008. For the past thirty years, he has taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in phonetics, hearing science, diagnostic audiology and aural rehabilitation, both at BGSU and OSU. He has authored or co-authored numerous presentations and publications. Dr. Small was named an ASHA Fellow in 2014.

Don't usually review text books, but this one was really good. Not hard to read, nothing fancy, I used this for all my exams to practice IPA and have done pretty well so far :) You'll learn IPA (narrow/broad) from this book and after you'll be able to actually transcribe something off cuff.

Very well written, I love the organization of ideas. It is set up to make you totally understand the concepts and succeed in the class. I really like how they have in chapter assignment with answered after every presented idea

This book is missing numerous pages. 9 in one section and more in others. The description when bought never mentioned this and it should have been stated. This book should not be considered good condition. The price is too high for something that does not contain all the information needed.

The book was in good condition, but was not really helpful in my phonetics class.

This was a required text for speech class. It is an easy read and provides many practice examples to solidify learning. Recommended

Phonetics was an entirely new language for me. The book was very helpful. Used as a reference for other classes(lang development in children, phonological disorders, speech acoustics, etc)

I have read these books every year for the last five years. I still begin at the front and read every word to the back. I still break out my magnifying glass and peer at the pictures, looking for the details, both the brand specific details mentioned in the text, and others I find for myself. I still do not know how he figures which brands will make the book and which will be left out, because the lineup changes. I love learning, because each years text about each company is fresh. I also love looking close at good photography of beautiful watches. I still am fascinated by all the different ways a square inch can be decorated and by the mechanical and engineering marvels that can be dreamed up and realized. No matter how many words or pages the author devotes to a watch brand, I am always left with many questions. These books are wonderful coffee table fare, good for many hours of fascinating viewing, but they are not fact filled encyclopedias. That is why I am glad he includes many web addresses to use to find out more about the brands, the US stores that sell them, and people or publications whose web sites will be informative. DRMcGee

If you're like me and you find watches to be absolutely amazing, then this is a great way to become familiar with the incredible number of manufacturers out there. This catalog does focus mostly on the European and the occasional US manufacturer. Obviously, most are Swiss, but there are the great gems from Russia, Germany, and Italy.What this catalog does very well is provide terrific glossy photos of beautiful pieces. There's also a informative biography of the manufacturer, which usually provides a brief history and what makes that particular manufacturer unique. The details provided for each watch and/or movement are very helpful. And for those that aren't familiar with all the terms used, there's a glossary (albeit in a strange place) that can help describe what the many terms mean.Now for my pros/consPros=======- An incredible number of photos of each watch and movements (for those companies that manufacture their own movements).- Great amount of detail on each watch/movement- Perfect amount of biographical information about each manufacturer- List price for nearly every watch. Many manufacturer catalogs are no longer including this informationCons=======- Glossary is in the front of the catalog. Should be in the back- The glossary is nice, but there are still many terms missing. One of them is 'sweeping seconds'. Now, I know what that is, but some newbies may not. There are a couple of other manufacturer-specific terms, which would be beneficial if they were in the main glossary- The manufacturer bio should include as much information as possible, such as: website, address, phone numbers, etc... Instead, that information is located in the back of the catalog. It would be more useful to put that information on the bio pageOverall, this is a great catalog (more like a book!). If you're interested in watches and/or would like to learn more, this is a really great place to start.

This is my first Wristwatch Annual guide, and I am very impressed. I do not know much about wristwatches, except that I find them exceptionally gorgeous, and would love to have an entire collection.The book is thick and heavy. The cover is glossy, and all the pages are nice and crisp. The quality of the paper feels like what you would find in a typical magazine. There are ads in the book for multiple watch brands, which is an added bonus since most of us really are buying this book just to see the pictures of the watches.Each page displays about 6 watches, and details the specs of the watch, and MSRP. Each brand has a short history, and description followed by pictures of the watches. It doesn't display all the models available for each brand, but does show more of the recent ones. The pictures show only the face, and partially the band.I don't know of any factual errors in the book as I do not know watches too well, but from what I see, I am satisfied. It's a great book for watch lovers, and you will be amazed at all the brands that are available. I highly recommend this book. Check out some of my pictures to get an idea of what the inside looks like.

I great magazine with a snapshot of most of the manufactures collection. Much improved from last years let down. this year the larger pictures return making view much better.

This book is a useful reference tool for pricing and a little history of most watch brands.

I loved this story and, especially, the artwork that goes along with it. The art is really (really!) well done, but more importantly it propels the story forward very authentically -- I can't imagine the story without it.I liked that there was very little teen angst going on in the story; that wears thin on me quickly. There's drama, sure, but no angst. The plot was a little predictable in some spots, but not horribly so. The characters and events were believable, very real (e.g. nobody was impossibly perfect). As a fellow non-conforming-to-stereotypes former gay teen (as in I'm no longer a teen, not that I'm no longer gay), I could completely relate to the main character, including the running inner dialogue, which was crazily accurate from my memories of that time. The interchanges between the friends felt very real, and the nascent interactions between the main character and a possible love interest were both awkward and adorable at the same time.In short: a great YA LGBTQ story, highly recommended.Slight spoiler here ------------->The love story aspect was well done and the delicate parts of being an adolescent teen boy were handled appropriately. Where the two met was also handled well, though it was, perhaps, a little gratuitous/unnecessary. My only complaint, really, and a very minor one.

Draw the Line is a story of coming out, standing up, growing courage, and using art, not war, as a strategy. Laurent Linn's characters come to life, especially our protagonist, Adrian Piper. Adrian faces pressure on many fronts, and, like many high-school kids, has to weigh his friends' advice against his own instincts. Author Laurent Linn creates two worlds in this wonderful debut novel: a big suburban Texas high school, fraught with all the social complexities of high schools anywhere, and the secret graphic novel world of Graphite, Adrian's alter-ego superhero. Many pages of Adrian's art bring an extra dimension to the reading experience. When worlds collide is when the fun begins!

Not always an easy read, but an excellent one that drew me in. Well written. Powerful. Bites into two major problems in our schools and society - bullying and discrimination. I found the characters believable and poignant. I bought another copy for my 16-year-old grandson hoping he will be inspired in his own journey of self discovery and personal awakening. Love it. (I write young adult fiction.)

Draw The Line is perfect. It really is. It is an amazingly well-conceived and well-written LGBT YA book. The story handles all kinds of issues - from coming out to coming of age to gay bashing to abuse - in delicate and real fashion. If I knew of a troubled gay teen, I'd hand him or her this book. And if I knew a fan of gay coming-of-age fiction, I'd strongly recommend this book. Many kudos to the author!

DRAW THE LINE is an exciting debut novel, with a rare interplay between art and text, a hybrid which can only be pulled off by an author who is talented as both a writer AND an illustrator, such as Linn.The plot is driven admirably by the conversations and decisions of DRAW THE LINE's many endearing characters (Adrian, Audrey, Trent, Lev...), whose deep secrets and desires are revealed bit by bit in a suspenseful way. Highly recommended.

The story is ultimately predictable-gay teen coming of age and into hisown. However the engaging characters compensate and there is a lot of nuance and layers to them that come through slowly and you would expect from a first person narrative

Solid stuff and beautiful prose!

I liked it. Great story, characters, world, and ending. I felt like the whole thing wrapped up nicely. Yap that's it.
