This book gave me what I feel is a balanced and professional insight into an issue of a new form of murder that is most probably being carried out in China today. It reminds me of the saying "Never again" that was heard after the Nazi Holocaust in the last century. Sadly to day the world is hearing "Once again!" because of live organ harvesting of prisoners and prisoners of conscience.

I had already read through the book before I purchased it. My friend recommended it to me and I read it within few days. I was deeply shocked and felt hard to believed the crime happening in China now in the modern society. I decided to buy one for myself for further reading and collection. I hope everyone can read this book! HIGHLY ROCOMMANDED!

Human life is the most precious. This book exposes the greatest tragedy of our time - complete disregard of human life value. Gangsters took over a nation and brutally persecute tens of thousands of innocent people in the most evil and inhumane way that ever existed in history - forced live organ harvesting. I will recommend and I hope that every person around the world read this book and try to understand the facts and the messages it carries.

I am hoping everyone will read this book. It is appalling what is happening in the "People's" Republic of China. The PRC admits to using executed prisoners for 90% of organ "donations". The rest of the world is left to believe that these executed prisoners are guilty of a recognizably capital offense, and have received a fair trial with adequate legal defense in a legitimate legal setting, and have given consent. This is not the case. Why so few are investigating this situation, like governments and media, is very interesting. And the complicity and cooperation among pharmaceutical companies, medical schools and scholarly journals is also very interesting.

From the 1970's when the first transplant operations were performed in China, the only source of replacement organs was from executed prisoners.An exponential increase in transplant operations started in 2000, concurrent with the persecution of Falun Gong. It is estimated that between 40-60 thousand Falun Gong practitioners may have died to fulfill transplant requirements to Chinese and foreign recipients. Christians, Uighurs and other minorities may also have been killed as a result of the practice.This barbaric, state sponsored practice brings back memories of the Nazi Holocaust, but is possibly on a larger and more organised scale as China expands into a international market economy!An interesting and informative read for the general reader and an excellent introduction for those researching this topic!

I really enjoyed this book! I have also read other books by the late J.J.Reneaux and listened to her tapes, and I believe she was a master storyteller. Another reviewer complained that Reneaux was "dumbing down" her Cajun persona, but I think it was JUST a persona she was putting on to make the stories more "flavorful" and entertaining. Anyway, it is a wonderful collection of folktales. My children loved them!

This is a very entertaining book. However some of the stories are more like ghost stories. I read before bedtime on recent mini-vacation. Most stories are very short, some I read aloud to my husband while he drove. It's a quick read. Thanks foo for the quick shipping.I purchased this book as a used book but it is more like new.

While I commend Reneaux for putting traditional stories into a convenient format, I read each of these stories feeling as if Justin Wilson was telling them. Wilson was over the top with his delivery, and so is Reneaux. It's one thing to tell a story in an interesting way, it's an entirely different thing to tell it in such a way as to "dumb down" the characters in the story. Also, judging by Reneaux's photograph on the back cover, it looks as if she's torn between wanting to be a voodoo queen and a theater student at the local university. In other words, she seems to be trapped in the the commercial idea of what is "Cajun." With no intended offense to Voodoo or its followers, Cajuns were never known for their mystical Voodoo powers as far as I know. We might be a little superstitious and quite a bit Catholic, but Voodoo never seemed to play heavily into the culture.Anyway, the stories are fun to read, but just be cautioned that not all Cajuns act like Justin Wilson and J.J. Reneaux may want you to think they do. In fact, most of them are pretty intelligent people.

Authentic Cajun Folktales was well written and authentic. I hated for it to end.

I had listened to this many years ago and was entranced by J.J. Reneaux's storytelling. Because I had listened to it as a cassette tape, I figured it was updated to a CD. Did not notice anything in description mentioning that it was a cassette tape vs CD. I returned it to the seller for return but have not heard back.

This book isn't the deepest, but that's fine, because it highlights the most important and interesting things from Newon's life. I would definitely recommend getting into this book and discovering some fascinating things about one of the most unique beings to ever live. Newton has inspired me in countless ways in too many ways to count. Newton is the man you should model your life after and this book will give you the general outline of how Newton spent his hours and how he became the brilliant man that he was. Brilliance is, in face, an understatement. Newton was out of this world. And although this book is a part of the material world, the concepts and descriptions are not. Get into this book and into the mind of a genius.

This book about Newton's life was an awesome read. First, not to long, only 91 pages on Kindle, and after I was finally able to understand where to find the book (not an avid Kindle user) I was able to finish it in one sitting. The glimpse of Newton I had before reading was just that, a glimpse. This book is able to inform the reader about Newton from him as a child and his upbringing, all the way up to death. Then after that go more into his workings as a person and a genius with his works to include the debates which did not get resolved until after his death, and by after I mean centuries. Newton was more than just the founder of gravity and the laws of motion, and as I found out, started with learning the suns paths and the stars. This book was able to bring me, the reader, into his life. It was written in a way which kept me involved with each paragraph and couldn't wait to swipe the screen and find out what was on the next slide. I was able at first to get this book at a discounted fee, but chose to pay the already discounted price it is offered on Amazon. It was worth the price, and I do recommend this book so you could see and follow all of Newton's trials growing up and everything he was actually involved with during his lifetime. Newton even being involved in Alchemy, which is now known as chemistry. Newton was a genius, and even gave praise to the ones before him. The read is awesome, and the author did a great job in bringing his history to life. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

I wish this book were used when I took history! I learned about Sir Issac Newton in history class like everyone, but I never learned about him the way this book presents him. This book is very well written and easy to follow. The life of this great man from a humble birth through 85 years of struggles and isolation is an astounding story. I loved how he raised himself from being the son of a farmer to knighthood, from a student hungry for knowledge to being the father of science, all while still remaining humble. I think he said it best when he said of himself "If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” - Isaac Newton.I would recommend this book to any student of history or mathematics, or just anyone who loves a good biography.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I love books about historians and this one is wonderful. I love all the detail that is in this and the descriptiveness right down to the honest part of there is no information on a topic. I like that the book did not embellish on parts that were uncertain. I am very happy with this book and I have purchased others like it and can not wait to delve into them as well. I like that this refreshes me on the history of Issac Newton and fills in the blanks on other parts that I did not know and this book makes these things very interesting to read about. It is also not to simplistic in the explanations so I did not think that they were made up. I am very happy with this purchase. I received this Mewton a life of discovery at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

I thought this was a very interesting book, and I enjoyed reading it. I've read many e-books, and often the horrendous writing &/or total lack of editing and proofreading drives me crazy enough to delete the book without finishing it. That was not the case with this book. Yes, I did note a few errors in the text, but they were few and far between. It in no way diminished my enjoyment of the book. I prefer biographies and non-fiction over fiction books, and this was a nice easy read over the course of a weekend.I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I am not obligated, required, or pressured in any way to leave a favorable review. The opinions presented are mine and mine alone, and I have not been paid for my review. If you look at my review history, you will see that I leave both positive and negative reviews.

I'm not a scientist by trade or by desire. I have heard about these scientists for a long time, but I've never really heard that much about them. That's one thing I've loved about the books by Alexander Kennedy.I've been able to learn so much more about these influential scientists than I ever did before. The book was intriguing and interesting.As always, I love the short, rich format that the books uses to highlight the most important points. I would recommend this book to just about anybody.It does a great job of dispelling erroneously held beliefs. A fantastic book.

This was an interesting read and I recommend it to anyone who wants a brief history of Newton's life. However, there are some errors in the science. The most glaring error is when the author refers to questions about the "rings around Jupiter"; clearly, this should be the rings around Saturn, not Jupiter. It was only fairly recently that faint rings around Jupiter were detected. The author obviously is "science challenged". Had it not been for this, I would have rated the book higher.

Fractured, disjointed, I'm astounded at the good reviews. An interesting topic (obviously), but the writing is appalling, it jumps around and back with no apparent structure. Did this guy not have an editor at least? A real effort to finish reading this one.

I have read a few other books on Financial analytics with R, where more often than not, the code does not work, or, more importantly, the code has errors! This text, however, has code that works, as written, and, I found no errors. Having said as much, the content of the book is also excellent. The author covers the basics of R, then the basics of econometrics, then demonstrates how to use R to do econometrics. If you are familiar with both disciplines, R and Econometrics, you can follow along with the author easily enough. If you lack knowledge in either discipline, perhaps you may want to read and learn some before jumping in here. The text does not delve deeply into R or econometrics; just enough and then some to analyze and process financial data. Highly recommended.

After getting stuck and being confused, I decided to look somewhere else. Gave up on decrypting unusual writing style. It was taking way too much time to get sense out of this book. I need something written with well-explained language.

I emailed the author to thank him for writing this book and combining the often overlooked but extremely important concepts of modularity (code) and reproducibility (research) to readers. Great if you have hit a plateau learning R.

The book is of 300 pages: first half (150 pages) is on R basics, then the second half is on R for Finance Analysis.

I usually have more than one manual for my vehicles. Typically Chilton is one of them. This particular book was not the usual quality. For some reason the book...when received had pages already separated for the spine. Shipping the item back is a pain....Receiving a manual in a large Manilla Envelope...and with all forms of mail service...I suspect the shipping damaged the spine.Lesson learned. Content and detail...as usual.

I know nothing about cars so this book has been extremely helpful.

There is not much to say about a Chiltons, when you need it you need it. These have a good amount of information when working on your vehicle.

This book answered every question I had and others I didn't know to ask. I also went to authors YouTube channel and got even more information. She and this book are amazing!

I would say its necessary. she's very specific and the book is slightly outdated now however a lot of the same rules apply. actually most of them do still apply but there are some very specific elements that still apply to eBay sellers but not in the same way as they used to or not so spot on anymore. But the amount of knowledge that you will gain from this book if you aren't already an experienced seller is amazing
